Christmas with the Robinsons

We had a great Christmas Day! After opening presents and going to church we spent the rest of the day with our fabulous friends Gareth, Lizzy, Daisy and Lucy Robinson. They supplied the turkey and stuffing and drinks, we supplied the vegetables. None of us were any good at guessing how much to make because there was enough food for twenty people, and 3 of the 7 people present were under the age of 5! So that left the four of us to plough our way through the food.

We all had a bit of a "cultural moment" with US Christmas TV when one of the channels had a shot of a log fire on with Christmas music in the background. For 9 hours. We couldn't resist it...

In the evening the girls went to sleep, and the adults played poker, ate more food and set the world to rights. Perfect.
