Growing up!

Tia is growing up - and has a new bed to prove it!

Our neighbour Josee dropped off a toddler bed after clearing out her garage, and we thought we'd store it away until Tia was ready to take the next step up.

Tia, however, had other plans. She got very excited when she saw it, so Chris decided to put it in her room. She got her blankie and her pacifer and climbed on the bed, saying "Night, night!" and then started jumping up and down, all giddy. It was only about 3 in the afternoon!

When bedtime actually came around a few hours later Tia was all ready to go. It took a little while for the fun and games to stop, and Tia was not too impressed with our departure, but she went to sleep on her bed - and that's the main thing.

So tonight is night two on the toddler bed. And we can't help poking our head around the door to

"check up on her" "see how she is" "see where she is." "make sure she's got her blanket on her" and other excuses just stand over her and think of how big our cute little girl is getting....
