Phil and Beccy Beresic

We arrived in Phoenix on Friday 21 Dec, just in time for my Goddaughter Beccy's wedding. On December 22, Phil and Beccy got married.

It was a wonderful, gorgeous day and it was a privilege to be a part of such a wonderful wedding. It was also great to see the Phoenix crowd, but also Katie Duggan, one of "my girls" who, like Beccy was one of my teens when I was a youth worker. You blink and then they were all grown up.

The weather was glorious and all was well with the world. But for one little jetlagged overwhelmed flower girl, it was all too much. She loved her dress, but was only just getting used to everything and everyone, who seemed to know her name, but whom she didn't remember. So there were a few tears, and some clingyness. Then she watched the wedding, and fell asleep...

What a great start to our time in Phoenix!
