On Boxing Day (not celebrated here in the US, but we're not letting it go) we got in the car and headed out to California for a short break. When you are working in a church, Christmas is a great time, but not necessarily a relaxing one!
We house sat for our friends Doug and Angela Bacon and had a few day to ourselves doing nothing. Even though Jo went down with a pretty nasty cold (followed by Chris... and followed by Tia) we loved to our trips to the beach, watching DVD's and going to the shops. Most of all we loved enjoyed that most wonderful gift - time together!
