Sheffield

We felt like total tourists going around Sheffield's city centre, oohing and aahing at all the developments. Lots of fountains, appartment blocks and fancy looking things. Tia was quite taken with the Peace Gardens and the fountain thingys. We had to inform her that just because some kids were running through the fountains in bikinis and shorts, it didn't mean that the weather was hot. Just that the kids were hard.

We also reacquainted ourselves with the great roast Pork sarnie, with apple sauce, stuffing, cracking and even gravy. And we did a spot of shopping, Chris found a pair of boots half price, Jo found 2 pairs both reduced by 80%! It was a good day...

We stayed at La Casa de Breen, which was a lovely ickle terrace getaway! As ever the girls loved the parks and the different landscapes and all that...

Is it a Mommy's lot to ALWAYS be covered in someone else's food?

The Saxton Quartet: Tia is wearing one of Mommy's bargain boots!

More from Sheffield later. But for now - lets take a day trip to London!
