Easter

Easter was a mellow affair this year. Tia was ill with hand foot and mouth, and Zoe was teething BIG time. Now about that hand foot and mouth thing. At the end of the day its little more than a fever and a rash (hives). But to the English - the phrase "hand" is lost and all you hear is foot and mouth and get memories of piles of sheep being burnt in the field back in the day. Melodramatic I know, but I think that is a mother's job sometimes. So after realising that our children had not picked up some animal disease, we felt OK.
However Tia didn't and was mega contagious, so no scary looking Easter bunny or crazy egg hunts for the Saxton quartet this year. But in addition to Rachel (aka Delilah) staying with us, the newest member of our family came to hang out - the lovely Nicole! Nicole decided to come for lunch and risk catching the dreaded disease. Or perhaps we just just didn't tell her....
